I feel that Grendel should not have been pushed out to live in swamplands just because of his intriguing monster-like appearance. Many people think that he should be in the swamplands just because of his looks. They not this of the long term affects that it might have on him. What is your opinion? Answer my poll on the right hand sidebar.
Do you think Grendel was evil before he was an outcast? Or did the situation cause him to turn evil?
What if Grendel would have lived in the city of Denmark under the rule of King Hrothgar? Would he have been accepted because of his appearance? or his actions?
What if Grendel had not looked like a monster, but was still evil? Would he have been a outcast?
What if Grendel still looked like a monster, but was not evil? Would he have been accepted by the Dane? Could he have possible be a soldier helping Beowulf fight the Fire Breathing Dragon?
What If Beowulf would have never came because Grendel was not a threat and Beowulf would not be in Denmark to fight the Fire Breathing Dragon? Would the whole kingdom have died?
Think about these "what if" questions. I look forward to reading your comments on my blog.
